Indigenous Christmas Artisans Market 2025

Indigenous PEI Joins the PEI Craft Council’s 60th Anniversary Christmas Market
New Date & Location | Saturday, November 22, 2025 | 10 AM–5 PM | Port Charlottetown

Indigenous PEI is thrilled to be part of something special this season! We’re joining the PEI Craft Council’s 60th Anniversary Christmas Market — the Island’s longest-running holiday craft event.

This year, our Indigenous Christmas Market will showcase over 30 Mi’kmaq and Indigenous artisans from Epekwitk, featuring authentic art, gifts, and handmade treasures — from quillwork and basketry to beadwork, apparel, books, and more. Every piece tells a story and celebrates the creativity and culture of our Island’s Indigenous community.

“This collaboration allows us to continue growing the presence of Indigenous artisans within PEI’s cultural community while celebrating our shared history through art and storytelling,”
— Jamie Thomas, Chairperson, Indigenous PEI

Our downtown shop at 111B Grafton Street, Charlottetown, will take a short pause on November 21–22 while our team celebrates at the Market — reopening on November 24 with shelves full of holiday gifts created by Indigenous artisans from across Epekwitk.
