A Mi’kmaq Coastal Feast – Honouring Land, Sea, and Spirit
Thursday, September 25, 2025 — 6:00PM ($100)
Guests attending this immersive event can expect an unforgettable evening of Mi’kmaq culture, cuisine, and connection, set on the breathtaking Blockhouse Lighthouse property. Wander between tasting stations offering traditional and contemporary Indigenous dishes, with ingredients sourced from the land and waters of Abegweit First Nation—including their own farm and fisheries.
Throughout the evening, experience the beauty and power of traditional Mi’kmaq dance, featuring a Grass Dancer and Shawl Dancer, followed by a special live performance by Dee Dee Austen, Abegweit’s own musical talent and contestant on Canada’s Got Talent.
