Bailey Sark was born in 2008 on Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island). She is a jingle dress dancer with the Mi’kmaq Heritage Actors, carrying forward cultural traditions through performance. In February 2023, Emily Spencer taught her how to bead, and the art form immediately became a passion. Today, part of her living room has been happily taken over by containers of beads, looms, and fireline—evidence of a creative practice that continues to grow.
