Panmure Island 31st Annual Pow Wow
This year, the Panmure Island 31st Annual Pow Wow is happening on Saturday, August 16th & Sunday, August 17th, 2025.
Join us for a weekend filled with dynamic activities that highlight the rich traditions of the Mi’kmaq Nation. Experience the powerful rhythms of traditional drumming, the captivating beauty of indigenous dances, and the timeless art of storytelling. This gathering promises an immersive exploration of Mi’kmaq legacy and a joyous celebration of its enduring cultural heritage.
This year’s activities include a sacred fire, traditional drumming, dancing, singing, games, prizes, a Mi’kmaq feast, craft vending, and a hand drumming competition. There is free on-site camping, serviced washrooms, full service canteen, and access to one of the most beautiful beaches on Prince Edward Island.
