A Taste of Epekwitk

Experience “A Taste of Epekwitk,” a unique culinary experience that will take place at Abegweit’s newly constructed community building in Scotchfort, PEI. Upon arrival, enjoy a complimentary cocktail designed by our Chef using wild blueberries from the community. While sipping on our signature cocktail, experience a basket weaving demonstration from Mi’kmaw Artisan, Francis Jadis, along with an all-you-can-eat oyster station. As the evening progresses, get comfortable on the second level of our new building and enjoy stunning views of the Hillsborough River as our Indigenous Chef, Richard Charron, treats you to mouth-watering contemporary cuisine with a Mi’kmaw flare. While dinning, relish in cultural teachings from Mi’kmaw Elder and Knowledge Keeper, Junior Peter-Paul. You are not going to want to miss this unique and delicious cultural experience!
